What's new on DomainIntel

We're moving past being "another WHOIS site." Here's what shipped to make DomainIntel a useful product for researchers, founders, and security teams.

  1. Sitemap is now high-signal only

Instead of dumping 10M URLs, we publish only domains with active DNS (A or MX records). This keeps the index lean (~50–200k strong URLs) so crawlers spend their budget on pages that actually deliver value.

  2. 5 aggregation page types — your traffic engine

We rolled out registrar leaderboards, TLD intelligence, ASN/hosting reports, nameserver clusters, and expiring/dropped-domain lists. Each is a real landing page with unique content and structured data.

  3. Unique value layer on every domain page

Every domain now ships with infrastructure neighbors — "domains on the same IP", "same hosting (ASN)", and "same nameserver" — plus DNS, SSL, HTTP headers, email security, Wayback timeline, and an AI summary. No more WHOIS-mirror pages.

  4. Free public API + watchlist alerts

Use our public API to pull domain intelligence into your own tools, and add domains to a watchlist to get notified when registrar, nameservers, or ownership change.

  5. Monthly data reports

We publish one original data report per month — registrar shifts, TLD trends, hosting moves, expiring waves — so the data on this site is also a story worth linking to.
